Uneekor EYE XO
The Uneekor EYE XO mounts overhead, forward of the tee, so it consumes no floor space at all. The trade is that it has to hang inside a fixed height band, which means a ceiling can be too tall as well as too short.

Packages built around the EYE XO
Most people buy the sensor as part of a package, because the enclosure, screen and mat have to work together and the room has to hold all of it.
| Package | Launch monitor | Room it needs | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Uneekor EYE XO SwingBay Golf Simulator Package Rain or Shine Golf · SwingBay 8x10 Enclosure Lowest priceSmallest roomNo annual fee | Uneekor EYE XO | 11 ft wide, 15 ft deep, 8 ft 1 in ceiling | $9,999 | See package |
Carl's EYE XO Golf Package Carl's Place No annual feeNo repositioning for lefties | Uneekor EYE XO | 10 ft 6 in ceiling | $17,615 | See package |
Room figures are the retailer’s own published minimum for that package, not our arithmetic. Where a retailer publishes none we fall back to checking the launch monitor and the enclosure separately and say so. We show one price and never a struck-through one, because a was-price is a claim about the past that we cannot check. Prices move often, so treat these as the figure on the date each package cites.
Who the EYE XO suits, and who should skip it
Worth it if
- Right and left handed golfers share the bay. Nothing needs repositioning between them.
- Floor space is tight. Hanging forward of the tee, it consumes none.
- You are building a permanent room rather than a setup that packs away.
Look elsewhere if
- You cannot fix into the ceiling, or you rent.
- Your ceiling sits outside the mount band. Too low rules it out, and too high needs a drop mount, which is a cost and a job.
- You want no recurring cost. Course play here sits behind a paid plan, which changes the five year total.
- You wanted to take it to the range. This one is an indoor unit.
Common mistakes buying a EYE XO
Measuring to the finished ceiling instead of the mount point
The band is measured from the hitting surface to the sensor. A duct, a joist or a light in the way changes where the unit can actually hang, and that is the number that matters.
Buying before checking you can fix into the structure
These bolt to a joist and are heavy. A ceiling you cannot drill, or joists running the wrong way, turns a straightforward install into a framing job.
Budgeting for the sensor alone
A launch monitor is not a simulator. You still need an enclosure, an impact screen, a mat and usually a projector before you can play a hole. The complete builds on this page are the honest comparison, and the cost guide breaks down where the money goes.
Measuring to the wall instead of to the obstruction
This unit needs about 13 ft of depth at minimum. Measure to the nearest thing that actually stops you, which is often a water heater, a shelf or a garage door track rather than the wall itself. The room fit calculator checks your real numbers against every unit we track.
The EYE XO against the GC3
At $6,999 the Foresight Sports GC3 is the closest unit we track on price, which makes it the comparison most people are actually making. They sit in different places relative to the ball, which means they do not want the same room at all. That, rather than the specs, is usually what decides it.

| Price | $6,499 | $6,999 |

The GC3 costs more up front. Check both against your own room before comparing anything else. Full specs for the GC3.
What Uneekor publishes, and what it does not
Uneekor documents 4 of the 6 things a buyer needs to work out whether the EYE XO fits a room. The rest you will find quoted confidently in plenty of places, but not by Uneekor.
Published
- a minimum ceiling height
- the mount height band
- the hitting zone size
- a list price
Not published
- the ball flight it needs to the screen
- an accuracy claim
Where a figure is missing we check this unit against our own 8 ft floor instead and label the row as such, rather than borrowing a number from a shop or a forum. The reasoning is on how we verify.
Notes on this record
Ceiling minimum of 9 ft is the retailer's figure, not Uneekor's. Uneekor publishes no ceiling minimum, so the calculator treats this as a comfort constraint that marks a room tight rather than ruling the unit out. Hitting zone of 12 by 16 in comes from Uneekor's own support documentation.
Common questions
How much room does the Uneekor EYE XO need?+
At minimum about 13 ft of depth. That is clearance behind the screen, plus ball flight, plus the space the sensor and your backswing need behind the tee. Width and ceiling depend on your enclosure as much as on the sensor.
What ceiling height does the Uneekor EYE XO need?+
It mounts overhead between 9 ft above the hitting surface. A ceiling above that range is not a dealbreaker, it needs a drop mount to bring the sensor into position.
